The holy month of Ramadan is a time of compassion, generosity, and reaching out to those in need. Staying true to the spirit of this sacred month, Lasbela Welfare Trust, in a heartfelt collaboration with the Pakistan Coast Guard, Uthal, successfully organized a remarkable welfare activity — distribution of 15 tri-cycles to differently-abled individuals across the Lasbela district.
This initiative aimed to bring mobility, independence, and hope into the lives of persons with disabilities who face daily challenges due to lack of accessible transport. For many of the beneficiaries, this was the first time they received a means of personal mobility, marking a new beginning in their lives.
Held during the last Ashra of Ramadan, the distribution ceremony was conducted in Uthal, where members of Lasbela Welfare Trust and officers from Pakistan Coast Guard were present to personally hand over the tri-cycles. The event was not just about distributing equipment, but about sharing joy, respect, and humanity with our brothers and sisters who deserve equal opportunities.
Objectives of the Initiative:
